Humble Beginnings

Born at Battalion in 2018, the origin story started simply with the adjustment of a helmet carrier on a daysack unable to hold a virtus helmet, a simplish task that got a lot more interest than I expected.

What followed via a close friend and WO2 was an influx of bespoke tailoring and repairs, then suddenly requirements for custom pouches and webbing appeared. Word spread outside Battalion to the limits of the Army and also into CP on the kit being produced and suddenly V Tactical was born.

At this point a step back was taken and an overall look at the market. The question asked was what could I change, what can I bring of value?

I could change the cost, I could give the ability to create and offer kit designed on the ground by those fighting on the ground. I could bring lower prices as I’m not profit driven, I could bring kit we know works not just what makes great profit.

So we took that step and looked. Then we asked what kit is available? What kit did we run with and had run over the years?. What worked and what didn’t? the cost of it and as Infantry soldiers what redesign we would use to ensure it was suitable on the ground for the rigours of what we do. 

Designs came together, research and development was conducted, some heavy testing from Brecon to Africa took place to work out any issues and from this the catalogue of V Tactical branded kit was created!

To date and now fully live the V Tactical catalogue is ever growing with new designs and updates always in the mill. We offer tactical clothing, load bearing rig, battlebelts, webbing, pouches, field kit, shooting equipment and custom works to mention a few areas.

We have been lucky enough having gained a foothold to be able to branch out a little into equipment from larger trusted companies allowing V Tactical to offer extra kit needed in the field, whilst always maintaining the core of the V Tactical Mission that we only offer the equipment we stand by and trust.
